The Micromanipulator Company is pleased to introduce the new 450PM series of general purpose - economical probing stations.

The 450PM is an economical, general purpose probe station designed for pad and larger geometry probing. With a design based on Micromanipulators popular Model 4060 probe station, extensive application coverage and flexible options, the 450PM offers value with its low cost of ownership and stable, reliable probing performance.

For everyday analytical probing, the 450PM provides stability with open, flexible designs that incorporate precise, dependable mechanics such as direct lead screw drive of the X-Y stage and 4-point platen support. The 450PM may be configured to specific needs and applications through standard options including Probe Card Holders, Thermal Chucks, Manipulators, unique Probe Holders, Manipulators for Mini Tile and “Wedge” type probe cards, Vibration Isolation Tables, and Camera Systems.

UNPRECEDENTED IN THE INDUSTRY, the 450PM stations are also DIRECTLY upgradeable to Micromanipulator’s model 4060 station allowing capability growth to meet future needs.

The 450PM offers the lowest cost of ownership from a name you know and trust. It is an exceptional choice for general purpose test labs, educational institutions and startups, for failure analysis, reliability testing, yield analysis and device characterization applications.

The 450 PM supports up to 8” (200mm) wafers, and features a stage resolution of 1 micron. It is available in two base models:
• The 450PM-A for work with individual manipulators and /or probe cards.
• The super-economical 450PM-B for work with individual manipulators only.
