PLS and PLF Link Arms with WAVE100/200 Manipulators

The PLS-8000 (straight) and PLF-8000 (90° Angle) link arms are available for use with the WAVE100 or WAVE200 manual manipulators. They are designed to hold RF/high frequency probe heads, Celadon Versitile™ probe heads, wedge cards and mini-integrating spheres. The PLS-8000 link arm mounts the probe head straight from the end of the link arm. The PLF-8000 link arm mounts the probe head at a 90° angle from the axis of the link arm.

The PLS-8000 and PLF-8000 come with a 2 hole to 3 hole conversion bracket. This allows both 2 hole and 3 hole probe heads and wedge probe cards to be mounted on the link arm.

Both PLF and PLS link arms have 4° of planarity and 4° of theta control. This assists the user in positioning the probe head with two or more points on the calibration substrate and test structures with a minimum of movement of the manipulator.

The PLS and PLF link arms may be mounted in a number of Z positions on the manipulator. This allows the height of the probe tip to be adjusted to five different heights to accommodate different probe station requirements.
